Rest Areas, Travel Centers, etc
  • Welcome Center hosts can provide information about Pennsylvania's cultural, historical, private and scenic attractions as well as the latest road and weather conditions.
  • As an added service to visitors, a free accommodation reservation service is provided to more than 1,000 Pennsylvania hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, or campgrounds
  • Welcome Centers are also full-service rest area facilities that provide restrooms, vending machines, picnic spots and pet areas

  • The PENNDOT Welcome Centers can be found at the following locations:
      • Interstate 84 East/West, at Exit 11, 1/2 mile west of New York border
      • Interstate 70 East, 5 miles east of West Virginia border
      • Interstate 79 South, one mile south of the Edinboro exit
      • Interstate 81 North, about 1.5 miles north of the Maryland border
      • Interstate 95 North, 1/2 mile north of the Delaware border
      • Interstate 70 West, 1/2 miles west of the Maryland border
      • Interstate 80 East, 1/2 mile east of the Ohio border
      • Interstate 78 West, one mile west of the New Jersey border
      • Interstate 81 South, four miles south of Lenox Exit 64.
      • Interstate 83 North, 1/2 mile north of the Maryland border
    Interstate 79 North, five miles north of the West Virginia border
    The three Welcome Centers operated by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission are:
      • Neshaminy Welcome Center, located on the Pennsylvania Turnpike westbound about seven miles west of the New Jersey border
      • Zelienople Welcome Center, located on the Pennsylvania Turnpike eastbound about 21 miles east of the Ohio border
      • Sideling Hill Welcome Center, located on the Pennsylvania Turnpike about 10 miles east of the Breezwood, exit 161
