Fish Creek Provincial Park facilities and trails are easily accessed
at entrances off major roads in Calgary. It is a day use park only. Gates
open at 8:00 a.m. every day of the year. Closing hour varies, but generally
coincides with darkness. Currently the park closes at 8:00 p.m. Park washrooms
are open from 8:00 a.m. to one hour prior to gate closing times.
There are no campgrounds.
Six kilometres of equestrian trails are located in the west end of the
park at Shannon Terrace. People bringing in their own horses may use the
upper parking lot as a staging area.You may enter Shannon Terrace by following Woodpath Road S.W., off of
130 Avenue S.W.Hitching rails, corrals, 20 km non-groomed trail.
